Dean J. Fusto is the President and Head of School at Brandon Hall School, a global boarding and day school serving students in grades 6-12. His career spans two decades as a teacher and educational leader in K-20 public, independent, boarding, and international schools. education. He founded the teachlearnlead.org global edu-library in 2013 as a tribute to his heroes and heroines: teachers. Over time, the edu-library has grown in reach and is positioned as a destination for teachers and school leaders around the globe who are seeking professional development and access to the latest educational research. Dean is a past recipient of a National Endowment of the Humanities Fellowship and an EE Ford Fellowship from the National Association of Independent Schools. He has published several books and holds an M.A.T. from the SIT Graduate Institute and an M.A. from Columbia University, Teachers College and a certificate in Proactive Leadership Training from Cornell University. He has founded and designed numerous experiential, service learning trips for hundreds of students and teachers.
